Facial LED (Light Emitting Diode)

Facial LED (Light-Emitting Diode) therapy is a versatile noninvasive skincare treatment that uses different wavelengths and colours of light to penetrate the skin at varying depths, targeting specific skin concerns.
Each wavelength, represented by different colours, has unique benefits and therapeutic effects on the skin.
Because of this, it can treat a wide variety of issues ranging from acne to aging.
LED facial treatments are popular for addressing issues such as acne, wrinkles, and inflammation, and for promoting overall skin rejuvenation.
It’s a painless procedure with no downtime, making it a great option for regular skincare maintenance. It can be combined with different treatments, such as Microneedling, Acne, and Rosacea.

What Different LED Light Colours Treat
Blue Light (The “Acne Killer”)
- Treats: Active acne, oily skin, and inflammation.
- How it works: This wavelength does not penetrate deep into the skin; it stays near the surface where bacteria live. It specifically targets and kills C. acnes bacteria (the bacteria responsible for pimples) and helps regulate oil glands to prevent future breakouts.
Red Light (The “Anti-Ager”)
- Treats: Fine lines, wrinkles, loss of firmness, and wound healing.
- How it works: This light penetrates deeper into the dermis (the second layer of skin). It stimulates fibroblasts to produce more collagen and elastin, which are the building blocks of firm, youthful skin. It is also excellent for reducing inflammation after procedures like microneedling.
