The Treatment
The gentle art of finger pressure.
Shiatsu, literally “finger pressure” in Japanese, is a hands-on therapy rooted in centuries of Eastern medicine. Working along the body’s meridian lines, sustained thumb, palm and elbow pressure eases muscular tightness and encourages the free flow of energy.
You stay fully clothed on a comfortable mat or couch, and we tailor each session to how your body arrives on the day. The result is deep, quiet relief, the sort you feel long after you have left the treatment room.

Questions & answers
Do I need to undress?
No. You stay fully clothed for shiatsu, so wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothing such as leggings and a long-sleeved top.
Will it hurt?
Shiatsu pressure is firm but never sharp. We check in throughout the session and adapt the depth to what feels right for you.
How often should I come?
Most clients feel a real difference after a single session. For persistent tension or stress, a short course of 3 to 4 treatments spaced a week or two apart works beautifully.
Is shiatsu right for me?
Shiatsu suits most people. Please flag any medical conditions, injuries or pregnancy when you book, so we can tailor the treatment safely.
